Who we are
MotorCircle is the controller of personal data processed through this website. Contact us via the contact page.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, optional location and bio.
- Listing data: vehicle details and photos you upload. Registration plates are kept private.
- Messages and offers you send to other users.
- Technical data needed to keep the service secure.
- Analytics data only if you consent.
Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the service you've signed up for (contract).
- To keep the platform safe and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
- For optional analytics (consent).
- To meet legal obligations.
Who can see it
Other users see your display name, approximate location, member date and your active listings. Your email is never shown. Messages are visible only to the participants, and to moderators where needed to investigate a report.
Retention
We keep data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards where required for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and request deletion of your data from Dashboard → Privacy & data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
