• Make, model, year and mileage
• Your asking price
• Good photos taken in daylight
• Honest details about condition, history and any faults

The steps

1. Vehicle details — the fields shown adapt to the type of vehicle.
2. Guide price — see an indicative range from comparable adverts with the evidence. You can keep your own price.
3. Condition — service history, MOT, keys, finance status, faults and modifications.
4. Photos — upload, reorder and choose a cover.
5. Description — ownership story, maintenance, reason for selling.
6. Swap preferences — what you'd swap for and whether cash can be added.
7. Preview and publish — confirm you're authorised to list and the details are accurate.

• Front three-quarter, rear, both sides
• Interior front and rear, dashboard showing mileage
• Engine bay, wheels and tyres
• Close-ups of any damage
