Understanding guide prices
What our guide price ranges mean, where they come from and their limitations.

Guide prices on MotorCircle are calculated from comparable adverts currently listed on the platform. They describe advertised prices, not completed sale prices.
Each range shows how many comparable adverts were used and how closely they matched — same model with similar year and mileage, or a looser match. Where matches are weak we widen the range, and where there are fewer than five comparable adverts we withhold it.
A guide price does not account for condition, history, specification, options or finance. Use it as one input alongside your own research.
